Gibbons P.C. Welcomes 2018 Fall Associate Class

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that eight new associates have joined the firm, bringing diverse talent and experience that further enhances the service that Gibbons delivers to clients. Their practices will span three of the firm’s legal departments, as well as the Gibbons Fellowship, in three of the firm’s offices.

Consistent with the firm’s commitment to hiring the most promising new attorneys with the most relevant prior experience, each associate has recently completed a judicial clerkship, with some having completed more than one. The members of the new class have completed clerkships in federal and state courts throughout the United States, including New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

The new associates, along with overviews of their practices, are listed below.

Megan M. Admire, Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department (Philadelphia)
Ms. Admire most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Joel Schneider, U.S. Magistrate Judge, District of New Jersey. She also completed a clerkship for the Honorable Michael J. Haas, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy, and her B.S., cum laude, from the University of Missouri. She is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Robert A. Ayes, Products Liability Department (New York)
Mr. Ayes most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Rachelle L. Harz, New Jersey Superior Court. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where he was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, and his B.S. and B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University. He is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Michael A. Conforti, Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department (Newark)
Mr. Conforti most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Walter F. Timpone, New Jersey Supreme Court. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Montclair State University. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.

Genna A. Conti, Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department (Newark)
Ms. Conti most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Marie P. Simonelli, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where she was Administrative Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, and her Bachelor of Music, cum laude, from The College of New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Kevin H. Gilmore, Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department (Newark)
Mr. Gilmore most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, Jr., New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Delaware. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.

Jessica L. Hunter, John J. Gibbons Fellowship in Public Interest & Constitutional Law (Newark)
Ms. Hunter most recently completed a legal fellowship for Planned Parenthood Federation of America in New York. She also completed a federal clerkship for the Honorable Robert D. Mariani, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Yale College. She is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Brendan J. Kelly, Real Property Department (Newark)
Mr. Kelly most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Jose L. Fuentes, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from The College of New Jersey. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.

Meghal J. Shah, Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department (Newark)
Ms. Shah most recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable Anne M. Patterson, New Jersey Supreme Court. She also completed a clerkship for the Honorable William Anklowitz, New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she was Associate Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review, and her B.A. from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.
