Gibbons Welcomes Back Julia E. Browning to the Business & Commercial Litigation Group

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to welcome back Julia E. Browning to the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation Group, resident in the Newark office. Ms. Browning handles a wide range of complex business and commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and New York. Her practice focuses primarily on various aspects of commercial litigation, including factual investigation, discovery and strategy, legal research, and preparation of pleadings and briefs in connection with business and corporate disputes, class action defense, and data security counseling.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Ms. Browning was in-house counsel at a large telecommunications company working on federal and state regulatory matters before the Federal Communications Commission and state public utility commissions. She also completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Lydia Kay Griggsby, formerly of the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC, where she drafted and edited judicial opinions and assisted in the disposition of discovery disputes.

Ms. Browning earned her J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where she was Symposium Editor for the Journal of International Commercial Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Marist College. She is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York, District of Columbia, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
