For the second straight year, ROI-NJ, a weekly newspaper covering business in New Jersey, has named Gibbons P.C. Director Christine A. Stearns to its annual “ROI Influencers: Health Care” list. Ms. Stearns, a member of the firm’s Government & Regulatory Affairs Department and Administrative Director of its Trenton office, focuses her lawyer-lobbying practice in the health care industry and has appeared on this list each year it has been published.

This year’s “Influencers: Health Care” list ranks the state’s top ten health care influencers, then features alphabetically nearly 50 of the state’s most influential professionals in the industry, based on research by the publication’s editors and reporters. Of Ms. Stearns, ROI-NJ notes:

Stearns doesn’t miss a beat on health care goings on in the state. Whether it’s policy, budget or industry trends, insiders regularly cite Stearns or seek her counsel. She also has a reputation as a powerhouse among female leaders in the state, regularly on panels for both women’s events and health. That dual role keeps her busy, but she manages to stay tuned. Her objective analyses on Trenton happenings is a rare find in today’s political bubbles.

In her role at Gibbons, Ms. Stearns provides strategic counsel to an array of clients on regulatory and legislative issues, with a focus on health care matters. She also serves on the board of the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute, a nonprofit foundation working to ensure quality, accountability, and cost containment in New Jersey, and on the board of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice south Jersey’s oldest and largest hospice. She has been featured on the NJBIZ “Health Care Power List” for several years, as well as on NJ Spotlight’s list of “Top 10 Healthcare Lobbyists in New Jersey,” and she is listed in the most recent edition of Best Lawyers in the Government Relations category.
