Matthew J. Sinkman Promoted to Director At Gibbons P.C.

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Sinkman has been promoted to the position of Director.
“Matt has been a great asset to the firm and has enhanced the depth of experience Gibbons is able to provide for its clients in the environmental law area,” said Peter J. Torcicollo, the firm’s Managing Director. “We look forward to watching Matt further excel in his career.”
Mr. Sinkman is a member of the firm’s Environmental Group. His practice includes representing plaintiffs and defendants in Superfund and other litigation matters regarding the cleanup of hazardous waste sites. He also represents buyers, sellers, and developers of contaminated properties. Mr. Sinkman is a former Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Environmental Protection Bureau. He was recently selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York City Brownfield Partnership, effective January 2024, for a two-year term. Resident in Gibbons’s New York office, he is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey.
