Jean Dassie Named to National Black Lawyers List of Top 40 Under 40

Jean E. Dassie, an associate in the Gibbons P.C. Intellectual Property Department, has been named to The National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” New York Class of 2019. The list recognizes outstanding attorneys under 40 from each state who demonstrate superior leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and profile within the legal community.
The National Black Lawyers is a professional and educational organization comprising the nation’s premier African American attorneys. Selection is by invitation only following a multi-phase review process that includes peer nominations and third-party research.
At Gibbons, Mr. Dassie focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent and trade secret disputes. He has substantive patent litigation experience both at the district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, encompassing a wide range of technologies from asthma inhaler drugs, to lubricating oil compositions, and the process and detection of images in electronic devices.
