Jason Redd Joins The Gibbons Government Affairs Department

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that Jason J. Redd has joined the firm as Counsel in the Government Affairs Department in the firm’s Trenton office.

Prior to working at Gibbons, Mr. Redd served as Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel to the New Jersey Senate Majority Office, responsible for advising the Senate President and members of the Democratic Caucus on various legal and policy issues. He also previously served as chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg and held various counsel positions in the New Jersey Senate and New Jersey General Assembly Majority Offices. While in these roles, he analyzed and proposed policy solutions on varied healthcare, insurance, and medical profession issues, managed legislation, and negotiated amendments between sponsors, state agencies, advocacy groups, and the Governor’s office, among many other responsibilities. Mr. Redd also served as Deputy Policy Director to Governor Corzine during his 2009 reelection campaign. While in law school, Mr. Redd served as a student extern to New Jersey Supreme Court Justice James Zazzali. After earning his JD from Brigham Young University, he clerked for the Honorable James J. Farber.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Redd earned his MCRP from The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy – Rutgers University, during which time he was a Henry J. Raimondo Legislative Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics. He earned his BS from Rutgers University.

He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
