Gregg Settembrino Joins the Gibbons Employment & Labor Law Department

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce the arrival of Gregg Settembrino, who joins the firm’s Newark office as an associate in the Employment & Labor Law Department.
Prior to joining Gibbons, Mr. Settembrino was an associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Florham Park, New Jersey. Mr. Settembrino has extensive experience in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. He represents clients in disputes concerning such issues as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract. He has experience litigating, assisting with workplace investigations, advising on labor and employment aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions, and providing advice and counsel to employers regarding compliance with Title VII and other federal and state laws.
Mr. Settembrino also regularly handles matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York City Commission on Human Rights, New York State Division of Human Rights, and National Labor Relations Board, and he represents employers in Fair Labor Standard Act wage and hour collective actions. In addition, Mr. Settembrino advises employers on practices and procedures, assists with drafting employee policies and handbooks, and assists with preparing employment and separation agreements.
Mr. Settembrino earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he was Notes & Comments Editor of the New York Law School Law Review, and his B.A. from Montclair State University. He is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
