Gibbons Selected as a Finalist for the 2015 Commerce Best Practices Guide

Gibbons P.C. was selected as a finalist for the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE magazine’s 2015 “Best Practices” competition.

This year’s topic for best practice submission compared CEOs to NFL quarterbacks, both leaders in their respective organizations, and asked CEOs what they consider to be their best leadership practice. COMMERCE has published an annual special section on corporate best practices for several years. The Best Practices awards program grew out of the popularity of the special section and the innovative programs and policies shared by COMMERCE ’s corporate audience.

Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons, highlighted the practice of regular follow-up, to address questions and concerns of both the attorneys providing the service and the clients benefiting from the service. Whether through business calls, meetings, status reports, or, after matter surveys, follow up should result in specific action items, ensure optimal service delivery, and capture feedback for further improvements.
