Gibbons Named One of the NJBIZ Best Places to Work in New Jersey for the 16th Consecutive Year

Gibbons P.C. ranked #11 on this year’s list of the “Best Places to Work in New Jersey,” earning the top ranking of any law firm in its category on this annual list published by NJBIZ, one of the state’s leading business news publications. This is the 16th year in a row that Gibbons has been recognized as one of the best places to work in the state in the “large company” (more than 250 employees) category. The awards were presented at a dinner and ceremony on September 9, held at The Event Center at iPA in Freehold, New Jersey.

“We have had to show our appreciation of and dedication to our outstanding employees in unique ways over the past 18 months, as they have upheld the highest standards of client service despite a highly unusual workplace environment,” said Patrick C. Dunican Jr., the firm’s Chairman and Managing Director. “This ranking tells me that our employees recognize that appreciation and dedication, and we continue to prioritize their best interests as we gradually return to more normal operations.”

The Best Places to Work program honors companies that benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and fellow businesses. This year, NJBIZ ranked participating companies in three groups: small (15 to 49 employees); medium (50-249 employees); and large. Companies from across the state entered the two-part nomination process to determine the Best Places to Work, which entailed an analysis of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics, as well as an employee survey to measure the employee experience.

This year’s nomination highlighted the benefits, programs, and policies Gibbons offers that are of particular value to different demographic constituencies at the firm, including women, parents, diverse personnel, senior workers, and those requiring certain accommodations. The nomination also focused on the new and amended policies and platforms the firm implemented in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Gibbons has been recognized as a great workplace by various other organizations and publications, most recently earning a place among the country’s Best Medium Workplaces, ranking #36 on the 2021 list compiled by the independent analysts at the Great Place to Work® consulting firm and Fortune magazine.
