The Great Place to Work organization and FORTUNE magazine have selected Gibbons P.C. as one of the Best Workplaces in the country for 2021, in the Consulting & Professional Services category. Climbing three slots over last year’s ranking and 11 slots from our initial selection in 2018, Gibbons is ranked #3 on this year’s Consulting & Professional Services list – the highest ranking law firm and one of only two New Jersey-based companies selected from this year’s Small/Medium Workplaces list. This is the fourth consecutive year that Gibbons has been named in the Consulting & Professional Services category.

In 2020, in addition to being ranked in the Consulting & Professional Services category, Gibbons was ranked as a Best Workplace for Diversity, Best Workplace for Parents, and Best Workplace for Women. The firm has been ranked more broadly as a Best Medium Workplace since 2016 by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.

“Over the past year, firm management has worked tirelessly to provide our employees with the tools, training, and flexibility they need to effectively communicate and collaborate, despite being physically apart, and maintain the highest level of client service in these unprecedented times,” said Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “They have truly risen to the occasion and, as a firm, we are committed to continuing to address their health, safety, and professional development needs as they gradually return to the office.”

Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experiences on the job. These factors included the extent to which employees trust leaders, respect with which people are treated, fairness of workplace decisions, and level of camaraderie among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies that best include all employees, regardless of an employee’s particular role or level of seniority.

“These companies are proof that strong company culture is not restricted to the physical workplace,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, VP global recognition, Great Place to Work®. “Despite the challenges of the pandemic and remote work, employees at these companies say they feel supported by their leaders, connected to their colleagues and that managers bring out the best in everyone.”
