Gibbons Named One of the 2020 Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services

April 23, 2020

The Great Place to Work organization and FORTUNE magazine have selected Gibbons P.C. as one of the Best Workplaces in the country for 2020, in the Consulting & Professional Services category. Climbing five slots over last year’s ranking, Gibbons is ranked #6 on this year’s Consulting & Professional Services list—the highest ranking law firm and one of only two New Jersey-based companies selected from this year’s Small/Medium Workplaces list. This is the third consecutive year that Gibbons has been named in the Consulting & Professional Services category.

In 2019, in addition to being ranked in the Consulting & Professional Services category, Gibbons was ranked as a Best Workplace for Diversity and Best Workplace in New York. The firm has been ranked more broadly as a Best Medium Workplace since 2016 by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.

“In a time of great uncertainty and a quickly evolving workplace environment, we are so proud of the resiliency of our employees,” said Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “Their ability to adapt, while still providing the highest level of client service, reaffirms that our employees are what makes Gibbons great and strengthens the firm’s commitment to their professional development and job satisfaction.”

Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experiences on the job. These factors included the extent to which employees trust leaders, respect with which people are treated, fairness of workplace decisions, and level of camaraderie among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies that best include all employees, regardless of an employee’s particular role or level of seniority.

“COVID-19 creates very unpredictable and rapidly changing markets for Consulting & Professional Services companies,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Companies on this list stand out for the high level of trust they have built with their entire workforce. High-trust, For All cultures enable these organizations today to quickly adjust to remote work arrangements and to successfully navigate through uncertain times.”
