Gibbons Named One of NJBIZ’s ‘Best Places to Work in New Jersey’ for Two Decades Straight

NJBIZ, one of the state’s leading business publications, has ranked Gibbons P.C. #6 and among the top 15 percent in the “large company” category on its “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” annual list. Gibbons has been recognized every year since the list’s inception, with the 2025 honor marking its 20th consecutive appearance. The awards were presented at a dinner and ceremony at The Event Center at iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey, on September 25.

The Best Places to Work program acknowledges companies that benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and fellow businesses. Every year, NJBIZ ranks participating companies in three groups: small (15 to 49 employees); medium (50-249 employees); and large (more than 250 employees). Companies statewide enter the two-part nomination process, which entails an analysis of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics, as well as an employee survey to measure each company’s employee experience.

This year’s nomination again highlighted the firm’s “Gibbons Experience” program, an innovative and generous benefits package that complements the extensive traditional benefits offered by the firm, with policies, technologies, and initiatives that support personnel in both their career progression and work/life balance. Additionally, the Gibbons Experience features a number of employee appreciation events that provide opportunities to socialize, relax, and otherwise enjoy downtime at work or with work colleagues. Hosted throughout the year, these events include, among others, bi-monthly “Bagel Tuesdays,” a week-long Saint Patrick’s Day celebration, holiday BBQs, health and wellness activities, and a holiday party in December for all employees. The firm also continued to promote employee health and safety, flexibility, and the preservation of our cherished “Gibbons” culture by offering remote work days.
