Gibbons Launches Employment Law Alert Blog

Gibbons has launched the Employment Law Alert – www.employmentlawalert.com – a wide-ranging online platform for analysis and practical perspectives on developing legal and business news in the area of employment law.

The Gibbons Employment Law Department will focus the blog on the most current employment and human resources issues, news, and legal developments, emphasizing their impact on the business community.

The blog is co-edited by Richard S. Zackin, a Director in the Gibbons Employment Law Department who concentrates his employment law practice in the areas of litigation and client counseling. He has been particularly active in discrimination and wrongful discharge matters and has focused extensively on reduction-in-force and other employment termination related issues. His co-editors include department associate Carla N. Dorsi, who devotes the majority of her practice to employment litigation and counseling on behalf of employers. Her experience includes defending wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and retaliation claims in both state and federal courts, as well as state and federal civil rights agencies. Kristin D. Sostowski, an associate in the Employment Law Department, will also co-edit the blog. She represents management in employment litigation, counsels employers on various employment and labor law issues, and handles all aspects of electronic discovery in employment and commercial litigation matters.

Rounding out the blog’s editorial board is Christine A. Amalfe, Chair of the Gibbons Employment Law Department, who has been extensively involved in defending claims under the state and federal employment laws and who is recognized by the Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, New Jersey Super Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America for her exceptional employment law practice.
