Gibbons Diversity Initiative Presents Quarterly Trendsetter Award

The Gibbons Diversity Initiative (GDI), an award-winning corporate initiative promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, has presented its Trendsetter Award to Brenda Ross-Dulan, Executive Vice President and Regional President of Wells Fargo’s Southern New Jersey region, at its quarterly meeting at the Gibbons headquarters on November 20, 2015.

Through the Trendsetter Award, Gibbons and GDI honor individuals who embody global leadership and vision with regard to supplier and workplace diversity. Ms. Ross-Dulan has over 25 years of professional experience in retail banking. At Wells Fargo, she oversees more than 150 retail banking stores and over $12 billion in deposits. She has been actively involved in such organizations as the Los Angeles Urban League, the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce, Cooper’s Ferry CDC, the FAME Renaissance, and the Latin Business Association.

GDI presents its Trendsetter Award at each of its quarterly diversity meetings. All firm attorneys are invited to these meetings, which feature some of the most eminent voices on corporate workplace diversity and supplier diversity, renowned thought leaders who are purchasing executives, diversity officers, and other leaders from throughout corporate America and key associations focused on diversity issues. Recognizing the most vital, current thought leadership is critical to the development and effective messaging of GDI’s own thought leadership.

Previous recipients of the Trendsetter Award include Ramón J. Pineda, a senior vice president and general manager of Univision Television Group; Nelson Diaz, a member of the Board of Directors at Exelon Corporation; Susan Hogan, Supplier Diversity Manager at PSEG; Michael Jones-Bey, Director of Supplier Diversity at Con Edison; Julien Neals, Business Administrator for the City of Newark; Gualberto Medina, an Executive Vice President of CB Richard Ellis; and Valerie Van Baaren, University Counsel of Montclair State University.
