Gibbons Directors Selected to Serve on Various Law360 Editorial Advisory Boards

Three Directors of Gibbons P.C. have been selected to serve on Editorial Advisory Boards for Law360, the esteemed online news source covering all major litigation and transactions involving the world’s top 2,000 companies, as well as broad legislative and judicial developments and news about the nation’s 250 leading law firms.
These editorial advisory boards provide Law360 editorial staff with insight from experts in key fields, as well as feedback on Law360’s coverage. Members of the advisory boards participate in conference calls on designated days and are asked to prepare several topics, trends or cases in their respective practices to discuss during the call.
Those selected from Gibbons are: Frank T. Cannone, Project Finance Editorial Board; Karen A. Giannelli, Bankruptcy Editorial Board; and Barry Liss, Healthcare Editorial Board.

Frank T. Cannone is the Chair of the Corporate Department at Gibbons P.C. He has extensive experience representing clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, public and private capital raising, private equity investments, private fund formation, public private partnerships (PPP), governmental corporate restructurings, alternative energy finance, venture capital transactions, cross border transactions, and distressed situations and opportunities.
Karen A. Giannelli, Chair of the firm’s Financial Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights Department and a member of the Executive Committee. She has more than 30 years experience representing business debtors, trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors, and she also represents several post-confirmation liquidation and litigation trusts. She is a fellow and Third Circuit regent in the American College of Bankruptcy.
Barry Liss is the co-leader of the Gibbons Healthcare Team. He has extensive experience representing hospital systems, physician organizations, organized delivery systems, and health maintenance organizations in a wide range of corporate and regulatory healthcare-related law issues, including HIPAA, fraud and abuse counseling, professional boards, licensing, and health insurance.
