Gibbons Director Peter Carton Honored by VNA Health Group

Peter J. Carton, a Director in the Real Property & Environmental Department of Gibbons P.C., was honored at the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Health Group’s Centennial Gala Celebration on June 23, 2012, at the Chapel Beach Club in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

Mr. Carton’s recognition reflects his extensive, longstanding ties to the VNA Health Group, as well as those of his family. In addition to Mr. Carton serving for many years as legal counsel to various VNA entities, Mr. Carton’s mother was a former chair of VNA Health Group, and the Carton family has long supported the organization and its mission to provide safety-net, community-based healthcare to those in need, including more than 120,000 people each year.

The Centennial Gala Celebration, co-chaired by former Governors Brendan T. Byrne and Thomas H. Kean, Sr., along with author and New Jersey resident Mary Higgins Clark, marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the VNA Health Group, a family of New Jersey’s leading home health, hospice, and community-based providers. These include the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Visiting Nurses, Cape Visiting Nurse Association, Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services, and Essex Valley Visiting Nurse Association.
