Gibbons Director Jennifer Thibodaux Elected as Trustee of Partners for Women and Justice

Jennifer Marino Thibodaux, a Director in the Gibbons P.C. Business & Commercial Litigation Department, was recently elected as a Trustee of Partners for Women and Justice.

Ms. Thibodaux has been an active member of the organization since 2012. Partners for Women and Justice empowers low-income and abused women to build safe and secure futures for themselves and their children by providing equal access to justice. The organization offers quality legal assistance in domestic violence and family law matters.

At Gibbons, Ms. Thibodaux’s diverse commercial litigation practice focuses on consumer class action defense, and she also handles internal investigations. She represents companies in a broad range of complex commercial matters and consumer class action lawsuits. She has extensive experience defending class action lawsuits involving consumer fraud and consumer product claims arising under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (NJCFA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Truth In Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (TCCWNA), Product Liability Act (NJPLA), California consumer protection statutes, and the U.S. Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA). Ms. Thibodaux is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Class Actions Committee and currently serves as a Trustee of the Community Health Law Project. She has also been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2010.
