Gibbons P.C. has once again been included in Vault’s Annual Survey as a leading law firm among associates in the areas of “Best Law Firms to Work For” and “Best Law Firms for Diversity.” The rankings are based on the results of Vault’s annual survey, administered to nearly 17,000 law firm associates across the country that assess firms in a variety of areas, including pro bono, diversity, and culture.
In the “Best Law Firms for Diversity” categories, the firm ranked 2nd for women and 7th for minorities, moving up 11 and 15 spots, respectfully, from the 2016 rankings.
In the “Best Law Firms to Work For” categories, the firm was named 10th for hours and 11th for pro bono. The firm was also among the top 25 law firms in the categories of integration of laterals/clerks, associate/partner relations, firm culture, and career outlook.
The Vault Associate Survey has an internal component, through which respondents rate their own firms on various quality of life issues, and an external component, through which they rate other firms based on overall, regional, and practice area prestige. The 25 best law firms for diversity were highly rated by associates for their commitment to hiring, retaining, and promoting diverse attorneys. In the pro bono arena, respondents had the opportunity to evaluate both the firm’s traditional pro bono program as well as the nationally renowned John J. Gibbons Fellowship in Public Interest & Constitutional Law.
