Inderwies, the firm’s Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer; and Kate E. Janukowicz, Director in the firm’s Commercial & Criminal Litigation Group and Director of Professional Development, Retention, and Associate Recruitment, as winners of its 2022 “Enterprising Women in Commerce” Awards. The honorees, who are all featured in the August issue of Commerce, the organization’s monthly magazine, were recognized at an awards reception on August 17, 2022 at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey.

The second annual “Enterprising Women in Commerce” Awards celebrates women who are realizing great achievements in their respective industries, inspiring and encouraging others, and leaving their marks in their chosen professions. Ms. Amalfe was one of four honorees recognized in the “Legal” category whose “excellence is admired by their peers.” Ms. Inderwies was among a select group of eight women in leadership roles honored with CIANJ’s top recognition, the “Platinum Award,” identifying women whose careers “ are models for others.” Ms. Janukowicz was one of five honorees highlighted in the “One to Watch” category, of which the publication notes “is brimming with professionals destined to lead their industries.”

“It’s no surprise that Christine, June, and Kate have been recognized by CIANJ,” remarked Gibbons Managing Director Peter J. Torcicollo. “They all have brought, and continue to bring, tremendous value not only to the firm, but to the legal industry as well.”

“Their commitment to the profession and the great Gibbons law firm cannot be overstated,” added Patrick C. Dunican Jr., the firm’s Executive Chairperson. “We applaud them on their many career achievements and congratulate them on this well-deserved acknowledgment.”
