Gibbons P.C. is pleased to welcome Catherine M. Soliman to the firm as an associate in the Employment & Labor Law Group, resident in the Newark office. She will be working on a range of employment issues, including employment litigation and counseling matters.

Ms. Soliman joins Gibbons from Saiber LLC in Florham Park, New Jersey, where she represented clients in connection with claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, and wrongful termination, as well as employee leave disputes and wage and hour claims, among other matters. She also handled confidential, independent investigations concerning improper workplace and administrative conduct and counseled clients on various employment matters that included employee handbooks and workplace policies. Moreover, she drafted the full range of litigation documents in representing clients in state and federal courts for employment matters, in addition to complex commercial matters, contract disputes, and intellectual property matters.

Prior to her associateship at Saiber, Ms. Soliman was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Scott J. Moynihan, J.A.D., Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. She earned her J.D., cum laude, with a concentration in health law, from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science, from Seton Hall University.

Ms. Soliman is a member of the John C. Lifland American Inn of Court and is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She has been included on the lists for New Jersey Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” and Best Lawyers® “Ones to Watch” for Labor and Employment Law – Management, Commercial Litigation, and Litigation – Intellectual Property.
