Alexandra C. Hayes Joins the Gibbons Government & Regulatory Affairs Group

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to welcome Alexandra C. Hayes to the firm as an associate in the Government & Regulatory Affairs Group, resident in the Trenton, New Jersey, office.

Ms. Hayes brings to Gibbons significant experience in state government. She previously served as Lead Counsel at the New Jersey Assembly Democratic Office, where she was an aide to the Assembly State and Local Government, Assembly Consumer Affairs, and Assembly Regulated Professions Committees; researched and analyzed state-related legislative and policy issues; and collaborated with Assembly members, legislative staff, and stakeholders to formulate policy initiatives. She also honed her legal skills at the Administrative Office of the Courts, Civil Practice Division, supporting New Jersey Supreme Court Committees and judicial conferences and reviewing court programs, policies, and procedures for compliance with legislation, court rules, and administrative directives.

In addition, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Frank M. Ciuffani, P.J.Ch. (Ret.) in both the Chancery and Law Divisions of the Superior Court of New Jersey, the Honorable Ann G. McCormick, J.S.C. (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, and the Honorable Timothy P. Lydon, J.S.C. (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division; Judge Lydon now serves as the Executive Director of the New Jersey Senate Majority Office.

Ms. Hayes earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A, in anthropology, from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and Georgia.
