Lawrence Goldman, a Director of Gibbons and member of the Corporate and Finance Practice Group and Co-Chair of the Financial Services Practice, served as a panelist in a program “Preparing Your Company for Financing” jointly sponsored by Gibbons, Comerica Bank and Geller & Company, designed for entrepreneurs to hear from local industry leaders and experts in their fields how they view the current funding environment. Industry leaders and experts discussed the challenges and obstacles of a private technology or life-science company might face when searching for either their first institutional round of financing or for a follow-up round of funding.
