Speaker, New York State Bar Association, "Superfund/Brownfield Program Update 2022"
December 7, 2022 | 9:00 AM - December 7, 2022 | 3:00 PM EST
The Environmental & Energy Law Section will present a timely conference on the New York State Brownfield and federal Superfund programs. Our outstanding faculty of governmental officials, attorneys and consultants will review recent developments in both programs, including the 2022 amendments to the Brownfield Cleanup Program and proposed changes to Part 375 of NYSDEC’s regulations. There will be panels discussing the impact of the 2022 amendments on renewable energy and affordable housing projects, and an update on recent case law involving Superfund and brownfield issues.
Our keynote speaker, Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters and the NYLCV Education Fund, will share with us her insights on “The 2022 Election Results: What They Mean for New York’s Environmental Agenda”.
