Speaker, Gibbons Women's Initiative, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - Performance Management & Terminations," Newark, NJ
April 13, 2011 | 8:30 AM - April 13, 2011 | 10:30 AM EST
Susan L. Nardone, a Director in the Employment Law Department, will serve as a panelist at the Gibbons Women’s Initiative event, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly – Performance Management & Terminations.”
With employee harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims on the rise, employers worry that legitimate, business-related decisions regarding current employees can lead to costly and time-consuming claims. Through a discussion of real life examples, our experienced panel will address an employer’s essential performance management responsibilities, review the repercussions of less effective techniques, and explore involuntary employee terminations.
Seminar guests will be encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences. Based on our “true stories” and actual case examples, the panel will examine the legal risks and best practices for effective management and separation of employees.
