On May 2, 2012, Kristin D. Sostowski, a Director in the Gibbons Employment & Labor Group, will speak at the Gibbons Employment & Labor roundtable discussion,”Wage/Hour & Social Media” on the topic of “The Evolving NLRB.”

Ms. Sostowski’s discussion will provide an overview of the NLRB’s recent focus on social media cases, including “Facebook firing” and employer social media policy cases. The Board’s latest social media report and the impact of the NLRA’s protection of employee social media use, on both union and non-union employers, will also be addressed.
