Speaker, Gibbons Academy, "Settlement Strategies," Newark, NJ
May 2, 2013 | 5:00 PM EST
Although few litigated matters actually conclude at trial, the goal of the pretrial phase of the case is generally to develop facts in anticipation of trial. This program is designed to inform and inspire ways in which parties may strategically and effectively utilize discovery and motion practice so as to not only move the case forward for trial, but also to establish a strong settlement position.
The speakers will focus almost exclusively on multi-party civil litigation, with “divide and conquer” being a highlighted strategy.
