Speaker, Gibbons Academy, "Ethics Seminar on Inadvertent Disclosure and Practice Management"

Once again, Anthony Davis from Hinshaw & Culbertson, will be coming to Gibbons to give an Ethics seminar. Mr. Davis will be focusing on two ethics issues:

Inadvertent Disclosure – The Double-Edged Sword

Mr. Davis will address the legal and ethical duties of the recipient of an inadvertent disclosure; the duty to protect client confidential information; and the consequences of failure to protect such information.

Practice Management – A Positive Approach to Managing Mistakes

Mr. Davis will also discuss how to manage attorney mistakes and provide two approaches to managing the risks of errors and omissions.
