Mark S. Sidoti, Chair of the Gibbons E-Discovery Task Force, will speak at DRI’s upcoming Electronic Discovery Seminar. Mr. Sidoti will give a case law update discussing key federal court decisions involving electronic discovery from 2008 to the present.
DRI’s Electronic Discovery Seminar is focused on e-discovery issues of the greatest concern to the defense bar. The seminar is designed to share the knowledge and experience of industry-leading corporate counsel from some of the world’s most well-known companies, outside counsel who defend complex cases involving electronic discovery, and federal magistrate judges who oversee electronic discovery disputes in high-stakes cases. As in the past, mock exercises and role playing will be used to emphasize the practical over the theoretical. This seminar is designed to cut through the rhetoric and answer your most pressing questions about topics such as essential case law updates, emerging e-discovery trends, EU privacy laws and their increasing impact on U.S. litigation, defending against overly broad keyword search terms, developing defensible keyword searches, dealing with opposing counsel, dealing with the court, sanctions and ethics.
