Alexander’s (“A.J.”) practice focuses on redevelopment, land use, zoning, and affordable housing. He represents property owners and developers engaged in mixed use, residential, industrial, office, retail and affordable housing development projects. His experience includes reviewing redevelopment plans, negotiating and drafting redevelopment agreements, and representing clients before redevelopment entities and governing bodies. In addition, A.J. counsels clients on utilizing tax abatements available under the Long Term Tax Exemption Law, including the negotiation and drafting of financial agreements (also known as payment in lieu of tax or “PILOT” agreements).
