Jennifer A. Hradil, a Director in the Commercial & Criminal Litigation Department of Gibbons P.C. and leader of the firm’s Appellate Team, has been named one of New Jersey’s “Best 50 Women in Business” by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premier business news publication. The winners were recognized at an awards reception and ceremony on March 19, 2018 and will also be highlighted in a special supplement to the March 26th edition of NJBIZ.

The Best 50 Women in Business awards program honors New Jersey’s successful and influential women in business who have been making headlines in their fields. The 50 honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges, based on their dedication to business growth in the state, professional and personal accomplishments, community involvement, and advocacy for women. Ms. Hradil joins fellow Gibbons attorneys Camille V. Otero, Christine A. Stearns, Karen A. Giannelli, Susanne Peticolas, Alyce C. Halchak, and Christine A. Amalfe, as well as the firm’s Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, June M. Inderwies, as recipients of this award.

“Jennifer has proven herself to be an asset to both her clients and the firm at large,” stated Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “This recognition from the broader New Jersey business community is incredibly well-deserved, and we congratulate Jennifer on her honor.”

At Gibbons, Ms. Hradil concentrates her business litigation practice in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York at both the trial and appellate levels, representing clients in various complex commercial disputes and helping them navigate the legal ramifications of their businesses. She has litigated many types of business disputes, including business tort, professional malpractice, breach of contract, antitrust, securities, restrictive covenant, and unfair competition matters. Most notably, Ms. Hradil has represented clients in various appeals in both state and federal courts. At the federal level, these have included appeals to the Court of Appeals from District Court Orders, as well as to the District Court from Bankruptcy Court orders and discovery rulings by Magistrate Judges. Ms. Hradil has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Ninth Circuits.

In addition to being recognized by NJBIZ, Ms. Hradil has been listed in Thomson Reuters New Jersey Super Lawyers, in the Business Litigation category, for several years, and, before that, in Thomson Reuters New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
