Mr. Camelotto has extensive experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, land use, and real estate finance issues. His experience includes the negotiation of real estate contracts, leases, agreements, and easements; zoning and title reviews; land use due diligence; and representation of both borrowers and lenders on a variety of finance transactions, including commercial, industrial, retail, and mixed use properties.
Acquisitions and Dispositions
Mr. Camelotto assists both buyers and sellers in a variety of acquisitions and dispositions, including commercial, industrial and retail properties. Among other transactions, he assisted in the disposition of a ten-property portfolio of self-storage facilities valued in excess of $100 million.
Mr. Camelotto routinely represents developers and other clients in applying for and obtaining land use approvals for commercial development projects. He has handled a wide range of projects, including: the development of a billion-dollar, state-of-the-art electric power generation facility for the Mid-Atlantic Region; the construction of a 311,367 square foot warehouse facility in South Brunswick; and a solar energy project in Bridgewater Township.
Mr. Camelotto advises landlords and tenants on all aspects of lease transactions, including ancillary lease issues such as subordination agreements and commission agreements.

: Mr. Camelotto has counseled several nonprofit organizations on real estate and development matters, including advising the Urban League of Essex County on its first ever redevelopment project in the City of Newark. He also represented a nonprofit conservation organization in its successful application to renovate a historic landmark into its headquarters and visitors center.
