This panel will focus on recent legislative and policy efforts that address the regulatory and enforcement landscape with regard to companies’ use of personal data of New Jersey residents. The discussion will include NJ Assembly Bill A-1766, recently proposed by Assemblywoman Quijano, which requires any business collecting personal data of New Jersey residents to have written security programs, as well as additional legislation and regulations impacting businesses in the region.
