The firm has been selected for this recognition conferred by The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission. A description of the selection methodology for this recognition can be found at https://www.gibbonslaw.com/awards. No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Gibbons P.C. has expanded the online resources the firm provides to clients with the launch of the Government Affairs Alert blog, a wide-ranging, regularly updated platform for analysis, discussion, and practical perspectives on current and developing federal and state legislative news and trends. Contributing to the blog are attorneys from the Gibbons Government Affairs Department in Trenton, named the #1 lawyer-lobbying practice by revenue in New Jersey for eight consecutive years by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission and New Jersey Law Journal.

The blog will focus on bills being considered and passed by the New Jersey legislature and United States Congress that could significantly impact the state’s business community; court decisions that may lead to the enactment of new laws or changes to existing laws; and federal and state laws already on the books that become particularly relevant to New Jersey companies or citizens in given circumstances. For example, one of the initial blog posts addresses this year’s ongoing federal election campaigns and the applicability of New Jersey’s individual pay-to-play rules. Other early posts discuss the state’s waterfront access regulations and new the legislation that makes possible the conversion of New Jersey Business Employment Incentive Program Grants to tax credits.

“Gibbons offers clients a variety of options for getting up-to-the-minute information on the legal developments that affect their businesses,” said Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “The attorneys in the Gibbons Government Affairs Department intend to apply to the Government Affairs Alert the same proficiency, insight, and commitment they apply to their legal practices, so that it serves as highly useful tool for delivering clients the information they need to do business.”

The blog is edited by Jason J. Redd, Counsel in the Gibbons Government Affairs Department. The blog’s editorial board includes David J. Pascrell and Kevin G. Walsh (Co-Chairs of the Gibbons Government Affairs Department), as well as Christine A. Stearns (Administrative Director of the Trenton Office).
