Gibbons P.C. is one of only six law firms to earn a “Highly Recommended” ranking in New Jersey in the 2018 edition of Benchmark Litigation, the publication’s top honor. The newest edition of Benchmark Litigation also highlights eight Gibbons attorneys as New Jersey litigation stars and one attorney as a future star.

Benchmark Litigation is the only publication on the market to focus exclusively on litigation in the United States. Firms included in the guide are chosen after a six-month research process which consists of extensive interviews with clients and peers. Attorneys must be recommended consistently as reputable and effective litigators by clients and peers in the marketplace.

The eight Gibbons attorneys named among the state litigation stars along with their areas of practice include:

Christine A. Amalfe, Employment & Labor Law

Thomas J. Cafferty, Business & Commercial Litigation

Kim M. Catullo, Products Liability

Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Business & Commercial Litigation

Michael R. Griffinger, Business & Commercial Litigation

Lawrence S. Lustberg, Criminal Defense

Brian J. McMahon, Business & Commercial Litigation

Michael F. Quinn, Business & Commercial Litigation

Ms. Catullo, Chair of the Products Liability Department, was also ranked among the nation’s “Top 250 Women in Litigation” for 2017. In addition, Robert C. Brady, a Director in the Business & Commercial Litigation Department, was highlighted in the Future Stars category. To be named a Future Star, attorneys must be consistently referenced by peers and clients as a litigator who is likely to become a “local litigation star” in future Benchmark guides.

Four Gibbons attorneys were selected to the Benchmark “Under 40 Hotlist” for 2017. These attorneys have been deemed the most promising emerging talent in their respective litigation communities by peers and clients. They are:

Joshua R. Elias, Business & Commercial Litigation

Natalie H. Mantell, Products Liability

Samuel I. Portnoy, Business & Commercial Litigation

Kevin W. Weber, Business & Commercial Litigation
