Two Gibbons P.C. directors have been selected to serve on editorial advisory boards for Law360, the prominent online news source covering all major litigation and transactions involving the world’s top 2,000 companies, as well as broad legislative and judicial developments and news about the nation’s 250 leading law firms.

For 2014, Karen A. Giannelli, Chair of the firm’s Financial Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights Department, will serve on the Bankruptcy editorial board; Barry Liss, co-leader of the Gibbons Healthcare Team, will be part of the Health editorial advisory board.

These editorial advisory boards provide Law360 editorial staff with insight from experts in key fields, as well as feedback on Law360’s coverage. Members of the advisory boards participate in conference calls on designated days and are asked to prepare several topics, trends or cases in their respective practices to discuss during the call.

“By choosing to work with Gibbons department chairs and team leaders and relying on their guidance for editorial direction, Law360 reaffirms the strength, reputation, and emerging leadership Gibbons continues to demonstrate in key fields critical to business and industry today,” notes Patrick C. Dunican, Chairman and Managing Director.

Karen A. Giannelli, a member of the Executive Committee at Gibbons, has more than 30 years experience representing business debtors, trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors. She also represents several post-confirmation liquidation and litigation trusts. She is a fellow and Third Circuit regent in the American College of Bankruptcy.

Barry Liss has extensive experience representing hospital systems, physician organizations, organized delivery systems, and health maintenance organizations in a wide range of corporate and regulatory healthcare-related law issues, including HIPAA, fraud and abuse counseling, professional boards, licensing, and health insurance.
