Gibbons P.C. has once again earned a place among the country’s Best Medium Workplaces, ranking 90th on the 2017 list compiled by the independent analysts at the Great Place to Work® consulting firm. Gibbons is the highest-ranking law firm and one of only three New Jersey-based companies on this year’s list, which is published on Fortune.com.

In July, Gibbons ranked 14th among the Best Small and Medium Workplaces in New York and was the only law firm to appear on the 2017 list.

These rankings are the result of the firm’s Great Place to Work® certification, based on feedback provided by its employees on an anonymous survey. All Great Place to Work-Certified companies with more than ten and fewer than one thousand employees are eligible for inclusion on Best Small and Medium Workplace lists that are published throughout the year.

Key findings of the Gibbons survey follow below:

Results of the survey appear online at Fortune.com. One employee said, “The institution is greater than the sum of its parts. There is a feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself and your colleagues. And the level and quality of the work is high across the board.” Another employee noted, “One of the most unique characteristics of Gibbons is that everyone is unique. Many workplaces have a somewhat homogeneous employee population. And my experience is that quality of diversity of thinking styles as well as lifestyles adds a great deal of depth to our communications with each other, sparks innovation, and impacts final products and final outcomes in an unfailingly positive way.”

“We strive to always show our employees how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication to providing the highest levels of service to our clients,” says Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “This recognition of Gibbons as one of the best workplaces in the nation reaffirms what we already know – our talented and devoted employees are what makes Gibbons great.”

“The Best Small & Medium workplaces are laying the groundwork for future success by building trust, cooperation and leadership credibility. All of these enhance business performance and create a positive environment for doing business,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.

Various other organizations have also recognized Gibbons as a great place to work, including, most recently, NJBIZ, which named Gibbons to its “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” list for the 12th consecutive year. In addition, the firm was the only New Jersey company selected to the 2008 “Best Places to Work in America” list by the Society for Human Resources Management and Great Place to Work Institute, and has been named one of the best places to work in New York City and Pennsylvania by such publications as Crain’s New York Business, Central Penn Business Journal, and Philadelphia Business Journal.
