The Gibbons Employment Law Department continues its series of interactive roundtable discussions with this program that will focus on the issues employers encounter when terminating employees.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Richard S. Zackin
Director, Gibbons Employment Law Department

Richard has extensive experience litigating employment claims and counseling clients on terminations and reductions in force. He is particularly well versed in the statistical analysis that must be completed when implementing reductions. He drafts severance plans and agreements and counsels clients on all aspects of corporate restructurings.

Steven H. Sholk
Counsel, Gibbons Corporate Law Department

Steven concentrates in the areas of employee benefits, executive compensation, employment and severance agreements, campaign finance, tax-exempt organizations, and immigration and naturalization. He is actively involved in negotiating and drafting employment agreements for executives, and structuring nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements and equity compensation plans. He counsels clients regularly on the implications of Internal Revenue Code Section 409A in the context of severance and release agreements.
