Overview

Mr. Riccobono is an employment and labor law litigator who regularly defends employers against single- and multi-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and retaliation lawsuits before both state and federal courts and government agencies. He represents employers of all sizes, ranging from international Fortune 500 corporations to closely-held and family businesses, in the financial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and insurance industries. In addition to handling complex employment situations, Mr. Riccobono regularly works closely with in-house counsel, executive officers and directors, and human resources professionals on a wide range of employment and labor law counseling issues. He has been commended by clients and peers alike for the strategic, responsive, and hands-on service he provides.

Mr. Riccobono has experience in a variety of employment and labor matters. He consistently provides reliable legal advice when counseling employers on compliance with employment laws and regulations in a proactive effort to avoid workplace issues and litigation. FOCUS AREAS

Defends lawsuits and EEOC investigations involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, § 1981 and § 1983 claims, breach of contract claims, and employment-related torts.

Provides advice and counsel to employers concerning a variety of day-to-day employment-related issues, including drafting of employee handbooks and personnel policies, leave requirements, internal investigations, and workplace reductions.

Prosecutes and defends lawsuits seeking temporary and injunctive relief related to non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty.

Regularly provides advice on every phase of whistleblower and retaliation matters, from responding to complaints to defending litigation.

Drafts and reviews various agreements, including employment agreements, severance and release agreements, confidentiality agreements, and non-competition and non-solicitation agreements.

Analyzes social media policies for clients and provides advice and counsel to employers concerning the effects of social media in the workplace and proper disciplinary measures for infractions occurring over social media.
