Mr. Haggerty’s diverse practice focuses on complex litigation and investigations. He handles a wide range of matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including high-stakes commercial disputes, antitrust and competition matters, professional liability defense, and white collar litigation. Mr. Haggerty brings a practical, results-oriented approach to his practice. In addition to representing clients in active litigation, he provides pre-litigation counseling and advises businesses and individuals on risk management and compliance issues. He also has significant experience representing clients in connection with government and internal investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Haggerty served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joel A. Pisano of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Complex Civil and Criminal Litigation
Mr. Haggerty maintains a broad-based litigation practice. He has experience litigating complex, often high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts involving an array of subjects, including commercial contracts, business torts, antitrust, unfair competition, RICO, securities and common law fraud, legal malpractice defense, constitutional law, and white collar criminal defense.
Trade Secret and Restrictive Covenant Litigation
Mr. Haggerty has extensive experience pursuing and opposing applications for emergent injunctive relief in state and federal courts, with particular focus on trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation. Representative clients span numerous industries, including technology, communications, financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and consumer products.
Appellate
Mr. Haggerty is a member of the firm’s Appellate Team. He has handled appeals in state and federal courts involving a range of complex issues across various substantive areas, including bankruptcy, employment, intellectual property, real estate, and constitutional law. He has experience in all stages of the appeals process – from initial strategic evaluation to applications for emergent relief, motions for leave to appeal, and appeals from final orders.
Government and Internal Investigations
Mr. Haggerty has represented boards, committees, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies in connection with significant investigations focused on a variety of issues, including employee misconduct, business practices, disclosure obligations, and various other legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters.
