Gibbons P.C. has earned a place among the country’s Best Small and Medium Workplaces as chosen by the independent analysts at the Great Place to Work® consulting firm. The firm is one of only two New Jersey-based companies, and one of only four law firms, on this year’s Best Medium Workplaces list, which is published on Fortune.com. The top 50 companies in each category will also be listed in the November issue of Fortune magazine.

In August, the firm was certified as a Great Place to Work® based on feedback provided by its employees on an anonymous survey. All Great Place to Work-Certified companies are eligible for inclusion on the Best Small and Medium Workplaces lists based on their results in numerous areas, including levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie at work.

Key findings of the Gibbons survey follow below:

“We strive to always show our employees how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication to providing top-notch service to our clients,” says Patrick C. Dunican Jr., Chairman and Managing Director of Gibbons. “To be recognized as one of the best workplaces on a national level reaffirms that our talented and devoted employees are truly what makes Gibbons great.”

“There’s a generosity of spirit that infuses the Best Small and Medium workplaces – one that has a measurable return,” said Kim Peters, Executive Vice President of Great Place to Work. “Whether it’s funding employee ‘passion projects’ or giving surprise gifts to customers, the best workplaces give it away. And they get it back in the form of inspired people who innovate harder and generate higher revenue.”

Gibbons has been recognized as a great workplace by various other organizations, most recently appearing on the NJBIZ “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” list for the 11th consecutive year. In addition, the firm was the only New Jersey company selected to the 2008 “Best Places to Work in America” list by the Society for Human Resources Management and Great Place to Work Institute, and has been named one of the best places to work in New York City and Pennsylvania by such publications as Crain’s New York Business, Central Penn Business Journal, and Philadelphia Business Journal.
