Mr. Marston, a former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, currently concentrates his practice on corporate internal investigations and other special inquiries, as well as on general corporate matters. He represented the Special Litigation Committee of a publicly-held financial institution in a major internal investigation, and he also writes and counsels clients on public corruption issues. In addition, as a former Legislative Counsel to U.S. Senator Richard Schweiker and through his relationship with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Marston has had extensive experience with national public policy issues and government affairs.

His practice also includes the following:

  • Representation of the financing subsidiary of a major public company on a variety of general litigation issues, including the recovery of its assets from customer Chapter 11 proceedings.
  • Representation of a real estate developer in environmental litigation against a Philadelphia-area college over an extensive underground oil spill.
  • Representation of an international trading company on variety of trade issues, with particular focus on regulations related to the Cuban trade embargo, and other trade regulations administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.


Representation of a number of hospitals operated by a multiple-institution Catholic health system in responding to inquiries from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

In addition to his investigative experience, Mr. Marston has concentrated on corporate mergers and acquisitions, representing an investment group which acquired numerous companies out of Chapter 11 proceedings following reorganization (including, inter alia, The McCall Pattern Company, Piper Aircraft Company, and Burlington Motor Carriers, Inc.).
