Partnering regularly with employers to navigate the myriad of complex state and federal employment laws, and to represent their interests when litigation becomes inevitable, Ms. Dorsi brings more than thirteen years of employment counseling and litigation experience to her practice. She has earned inclusion in the Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Lawyers for Business for the Labor & Employment category through her thorough understanding of her clients’ business and legal needs, as well as her involvement in litigations that address the most cutting-edge issues impacting employers today. In addition to counseling employers on a multitude of workplace issues, Ms. Dorsi litigates before federal and state courts, various arbitral forums, and federal and state agencies. She also regularly provides training on a variety of workplace topics, such as harassment, retaliation, and performance management, to employees at all levels of business organizations. Her clients span a diverse range of industries, including medical testing, manufacturing, broker-dealers, retail, public utilities, automotive, and housing authorities.

She has been interviewed by the Star Ledger and Record, regularly presents to the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, and frequently authors articles for various legal and business publications. In addition, she co-edits the firm’s Employment Law Alert, to which she also contributes blog posts of her own.

Ms. Dorsi has served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall’s Stillman School of Business. She also has been a member of Morris County SHRM and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. In addition, she is an active participant in the Gibbons Women’s Initiative.


In light of her multifaceted experience, Ms. Dorsi is regularly sought after for her professional insight, giving presentations to industry associations on various employment law topics and contributing to leading business and legal publications. Ms. Dorsi’s specific experience includes:

  • Providing training for employees on harassment, discrimination, and other critical workplace topics
  • Counseling clients on the numerous disability and family leave laws
  • Counseling and training clients on hiring, firing, and performance management
  • Litigating cases involving such cutting-edge issues as breast-feeding discrimination, transgender harassment, and reverse discrimination claims
  • Litigating collective action and multi-plaintiff cases
  • Practice before the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL)
  • Successfully arbitrating a claim in which the claimant was seeking over $600 million in damages
  • Successfully trying a case in which a male plaintiff alleged gender harassment and discrimination in a female-dominated workplace
