Christopher H. Strate

Christopher H. Strate joins the firm’s Intellectual Property Department with extensive experience representing clients in patent litigation and prosecution matters. Mr. Strate has represented clients in numerous fields including: Hatch-Waxman Abbreviated New Drug Application actions, software and computer systems, medical devices and instruments, operating room and hospital communication systems, semiconductor processing, electro-plating processes, cement manufacturing methods, anti-microbial compositions, denture and shaving materials, sail technology, industrial brake systems, business methods among others.

As a registered patent agent, Mr. Strate analyzes clients’ products for patentability and assists them in drafting patent applications and prosecuting the application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Strate also advises clients on matters of patent validity and infringement.

Mr. Strate has also negotiated and drafted patent licenses, development agreements, supply agreements, litigation settlement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
