Uzoamaka N. Okoye

Uzoamaka N. Okoye is an Associate in the firm's Real Property & Environmental and Business & Commercial Litigation Departments, and a Co-Chair of the firm's Associates Committee. In 2010, Ms. Okoye rejoined the firm after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Stuart J. Rabner, Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Ms. Okoye has complex commercial litigation practice with a concentration in all aspects of environmental law. She has represented clients in environmental actions under both federal and state law. Ms. Okoye also has extensive experience counseling and representing clients in complex commercial and intellectual property matters, applying her technical background in litigations involving construction, antitrust, and misappropriation disputes.

Prior to practicing law at Gibbons, Ms. Okoye was an environmental engineer for Metcalf & Eddy, Inc. (AECOM) and was involved in the design and construction management of upgrades to water and wastewater treatment facilities servicing the City of New York.
