Joseph M. Cincotta

Joseph M. Cincotta concentrates his practice in the defense of product liability, toxic torts and other complex litigation. Mr. Cincotta served as law clerk to the Honorable James L. Stern, Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County, and also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia from 1980 to 1985.

Mr. Cincotta has served as a lecturer for the Chemical Manufacturers Association, the Law and Science Institute and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. His lectures cover a broad range of topics, including federal preemption, admissibility of expert testimony, bulk supplier liability and idiosyncratic reactions. Mr. Cincotta has also published articles regarding toxic tort litigation in Mealey's Toxic Law Reporter and Counterpoint, a publication of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
