Elvin Esteves

Elvin Esteves is experienced in all aspects of federal and state litigation. Mr. Esteves is a multi-purpose business litigator who concentrates his practice principally in complex commercial litigation concerning contract disputes and business torts. Mr. Esteves litigates noncompete, nonsolicitation and confidentiality covenants and counsels clients in resolving restrictive covenant disputes without litigation where possible. He has significant experience in intellectual property litigation, including patent and trade secret litigation. He has participated in internal investigations and white-collar matters, including the representation of individuals and corporations in connection with grand jury proceedings and government subpoenas concerning alleged healthcare and securities fraud, insider trading and accounting irregularities. Mr. Esteves works frequently with national firms on matters before the federal and state courts in New Jersey in which Gibbons serves as co-counsel. He also has an active practice representing and counseling developers and corporations on real estate development projects, litigation, government affairs and other business matters in Newark, where he is active in various civic organizations and causes. Mr. Esteves is a member of the Advisory Council to the firm's Diversity Initiative.
