Charles A. Gaglia, Jr.

Charles A. Gaglia has served as Chief Counsel Intellectual Property for the International Paper Company and President of the International Paper Trademark Corporation. Mr. Gaglia was responsible for all legal issues arising from the protection, licensing, and acquisition of technology. Prior to the merger of International Paper Company and Union Camp Corporation, Mr. Gaglia held the position of Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property and Environmental Law Counsel for Union Camp Corporation. Prior to joining Union Camp Corporation, Mr. Gaglia was Patent Counsel for both the Consumer Products Division of Warner-Lambert Co. and Warner-Lambert Canada, Ltd. Major technology areas that Mr. Gaglia has been involved with are pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer products, paper, resins, adhesives, and biotechnology. Mr. Gaglia has also prepared and prosecuted United States and foreign patent and trademark applications. Mr. Gaglia is a past President and former member of the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association, a past co-chair of the Litigation Committee and a past chair of the Licensing Committee of the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Gaglia is an Instructor at the Rutgers - Blanche and Irwin Lerner Center for Pharmaceutical Management Studies.
