Mr. Kassim concentrates his practice in the areas of general products liability, premise liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and mass tort litigation in state and federal courts. In addition to his products liability practice, Mr. Kassim has technical experience in chemical engineering, specialty chemical manufacturing, refinery process design, and cellular biological research. This extensive experience provides a valuable background for his pharmaceutical and medical device practice.

Mr. Kassim represents a broad base of product manufacturers, including leading pharmaceutical, chemical, telecommunications, and industrial companies. He has handled various aspects of litigation, from initial discovery through judgment and resolution, including responsibility for pleadings, motions, depositions, and mediations. Mr. Kassim has also analyzed a variety of pretrial and trial evidentiary issues relevant to products liability and, specifically, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, and medical device cases. He has developed extensive experience in large-scale discovery management and trial preparation.
